About my Adult Martial Arts Classes.(I do not teach children under 15 years of age)
I hold a Second Degree Black belt, I have been teaching semi-private classes out of my basement for more than twenty years. What is semi- private? No more than five students a class. This means more instructor time per student.
The style I teach is called Goshin Do Karate, primarily from Japan, a hard-soft style modified with lots of ju-jitsu and judo. There are also touches of Kung fu and Aikido. Recently I have added basic and intermediate techniques from Brazilian Ju-jitsu and some stick fighting.
If you don't understand what I mean by style, or hard-soft or ju-jitsu then think of it as a fighting art with many kicks, hand strikes, throwing techniques and joint twisting techniques with recently added ground fighting (Wrestling) taught carefully for maximum safety.
Classes are two hours long with a half hour warm-up/workout at the beginning to help get you in shape and get you ready for class. I teach Kata (forms) Waza (self defense) sparring (free fighting) and some weapons.

It is the adventures of David Johnson, a sixteen-year-old Martial arts student who is selected for a mission on a strange world by God almighty. He must fight giants, assassins and monsters to preach the word and save the people of this new world.
The second book is “THE TEST” in which Jack Jeremiah Jones, a back slidden Christian and retired soldier, must use all his training and faith when kidnapped with his wife and put into a Murder Maze and tested for the fate of the human race.
The third book is a book of jokes and funny songs and stories called “ SILLY SAYINGS”
I am working on two sequels to the first two books, A Warrior book called “Zombie Stew” and a JJ Jones book called “WHERE DEMONS DWELL.”
