Tacks is a local Garland, Texas artist that has been on the music scene for over five years. He started putting out mixtapes in 2001, with his first mixtape titled "End Of Da Summa 2K1". Throughout the next couple of years he put out other mixtapes with titles like "2K2 Steppin'" and "Round 3". In 2005 he released his first all flows cd titled "Nuthin' But Flowz Vol. 1" which consisted of other local artists like Big Eazy, Koonce, Dat Boy Zig and many others. Here it is 2007 and he's still at it, working on his actual album, and another mixtape titled "Still Hangin' On" that should be droppin' in a couple of months. He has teamed up with a couple of his good friends to also work on a DVD titled "Garland TX Representaz". Rapping is his main thing although, as it gives Tacks a chance to get the events that happens throughout his life off his chest and onto tracks
