About

A group where we can share RV stories - suggested campsites - tips - advice etc... We have an 18' Jayco Kiwi TT and have been RVing for 3 years I would love to know where you have been what you like to do at your campsite and how you are still managing a good trip with the high gas prices. Also love to hear about anyone who has been to Disney World via RV or Canada (Niagara Toronto area)

Our favorite RV trip was to South Dakota- We (my husband and I, two children and our dog) went there for 10 days we saw the black hills, saw several Bison, prarie dogs, Pronghorn antelope, etc.. the animals were endless. What did we learn on this excursion that can help you - It gets COLD at night in the 40's and sometimes lower and if you are going at the end of the summer don't be fooled it still get's cold at night CHECK your heater on your RV or bring electric heaters which we bought after this trip. Our heat went out on us 3 days into the trip and luckily there was a repairman out there but even he couldn't help us out it was nerve wrecking at times but we now do not leave home with out our electric heaters and warm clothes. Let us know what valuable lessons you have learned on your excursions...Happy RVing this summer!!
