Yes, I'm trying to do one up on David's "What is the meaning of life?".
Everyday people go about looking and working towards happiness. I've seen people work their whole lives towards happiness and not reach it. So...WHO says we should be happy? WHERE do we get the idea that it's one of life's accomplishments to be happy? I'm interested in your answers, I discovered sopething the other day that I'll share after I get some responces.

Very interesting discussion Helen. I am not sure we "deserve" happiness, but most people do seem to feel entitled to it. "Happiness" is really the pleasure center of our brain so it makes sense that humans seek it out. What makes one person happy might not do the same for someone else.

I am looking forward to hearing what you discovered!

I believe happiness and the road less traveled are one and the same. People should seek happiness with reckless abandon, for happiness hates the timid!
