well paulo never forewarned jack of his kidnapping as far as we know. my guess is paulo was caught and working with the others.

he explained how he knew where it was b/c it was near paulo and a fresh dirt mound.

i think that now they have an others walkie talkie that will play a part in future episodes and have use.

Exactly. It was a good filler. They are doing a better job this year with fillers.

The other thing, how did Sawyer find the diamonds so easily and he kept the walkie talkie. Something tells me this story is not completely over. However I don't think that they will come back alive.

the episode was sort of like the hurley car episode which didn't explain much but was filler and had drama.

ha - good point about the guest star. and they were list as "guest stars" in the credits. which people thought was odd. they don't do that w/other characters like the others.

I guess it leaves it open that they may still get out of this alive. The other thing is that you don't know if Paulo had contact with the others. the walkie talkie isn't explained... he must have been in cohoots with them.

Perhaps to kill Paulo and Nikkie. Everybody hated them. Remember in the beginning when she was talking to the old man. She said she was just a guest star and guest stars always die.
