Have you ever wondered if is it real that so many people just work from home using the internet?
Can someone really work from home with these so called "home business"?
When I started browsing work from home opportunities, because I had just quit my job and have this dream to make my own hours, be my boss, you know, if you are reading this you probably want the same, I thought it was great! I saw all those advertisements with people like me that didn't have a penny suddenly have huge houses, boats and cars and they didn't rob a bank or win the lottery, they were proud members of "work only 5 minutes a day and make 1 million dollars!!" . I got all excited and thought, "well if they can do it, I can do too". It was not long for my excitement to go away and I find myself spending money but making any. I don't need to tell you how frustrated I was.
I gave up for a couple of months, however something inside me kept telling me to keep looking, it must have something there, I think it was the fact I still didn't have a job and nothing to do but watch TV, eat, sleep and use the internet. So I would look and look for something but nothing seemed real anymore, only fantasies. I believe those who promises make a lot of money and get really rich are not exactly lying. Some people really get there, unfortunately not everyone.
There are ways though to make good money online, it is real but demands work, like any other job if you want to accomplish your dream to work at home and have your own schedule. First of all you need to take time to research all the opportunities on the internet and, read real testimonies from people in forums, maybe some home business magazines and try to learn what worked for them, what methods they used, how were they financially before, some online jobs work for those who already have money to invest, if it is not your case you need to look for the chances in which your start up investment will be low or nothing. You will probably have to invest something, there are programs you start for free but eventually you will have to put some money down and it may be worth to do so.
Stay away of things like that: you pay an amount of money to have access to a members page or a free website and then you need to sell the same thing, that is actually nothing and deceives people that think they are buying an honest way to make money.
Data entry online, freelance writers and affiliate programs are my favorite ones, you do make money with them, at least works for me because I like to spend time online, advertise and write small articles. I do put time into it. But I put as much time I want and the hours and days I want. I don't spend much money to advertise for there are many websites you can place free ads. I also advice you to do the training companies offer you, it helps a lot to get started and e-mail them all your questions about their companies and how is the work before you pay anything, wait and see how or if they will reply to your concerns because this shows you the character of the company.
I hope this small piece of advice helps you a little, at least to make your mind clear that you can make money working online from home but don't expect it to be all they say it is. Don't give up easily and be wise about how to invest your money.
