The London Clinic Clinical Assistant – Oncology/medical doctor Department: Clinical Services Job Ref: LC1370 Grade: Inclusive Hours: 45 hours per week Salary: £42,530 per annum The London Clinic is one of the largest and most prestigious private hospitals in the UK, located in the heart of London’s medical community where inpatients and day care facilities are offered. This position will enable you to work with leading Consultants in the fields of Oncology and Haematology. This position will enhance your existing clinical knowledge of medical oncology and promote development of clinical skills. In addition you will work in partnership with the established team of oncology and haematology clinical assistants and under the direction of the senior oncology clinical assistant take responsibility for administering and supervising the clinical care of a wide variety of patients undergoing Chemotherapy and other treatments including Stem Cell Rescue and Bone Marrow Transplant procedures. There is the opportunity to participate in new and established research projects and to pursue personal research related to the work of the Unit. You will demonstrate a broad experience of general medicine and have experience in Clinical Oncology at Senior House Officer Level. This post is offered as a full-time position.
