The Brooklyn Art Project is now accepting member submissions for their Connected Unconscious, a collaborative exhibition with the Brooklyn Academy of Music which celebrates the creative possibilities of our web 2.0 connected world.

The exhibition will take place from April 17th - May 11th and feature work from five BAP members selected by a panel of judges. Winning selections will be shown alongside work from 10 rising stars of BrooklynArtProject.com.

// SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Join BrooklynArtProject.com if you're not already a member. As always, membership is free.

2. Join the BAP/BAM Connected Unconscious Call for Entries group at: http://www.brooklynartproject.com/group/connectedunconscious

3. Upload your submission to your account on BrooklynArtProject.com and tag it based on your chosen media using one of the following four tags (please be sure to include underlines as shown):

connected_painting
connected_illustration
connected_sculpture
connected_mixedmedia

4. Include a short description in 2-3 sentences that explains how your work reflects the theme of "Connected Unconscious".

5. Submissions must be no wider than 24" x and no taller than 36" to be considered for selection. Uploaded images must be at least 1000 pixels wide. Also be sure to add your location (city/state/country) during the upload process.

Submissions must be uploaded by 12:00am midnight on April 6th. Winners will be announced on April 10th. Winners are responsible for shipment of art (round-trip freight cost and insurance) to arrive in Brooklyn, NY no later than April 15th.

// SELECTION CRITERIA

Selections will be made based on the relevance of the work to the "Connected Unconscious" theme. BrooklynArtProject.com reserves the right to select alternate works if the winning artist cannot meet the deadline requirements.
