Strategies To Get Your Articles Read
Posted by: kelly on July 25th, 2008 in Tips.

There are many people who dread having to write papers or articles. They feel like it is too much work and possibly even a waste of time because they assume no one will read it. To other people, reading articles seems like work too, especially if the article is boring and very bland. Obviously,  articles are written to be read being that their purpose is to impart your message and information.

Writing a good article doesn’t have to be strenuous and straining. There are just some points to keep in mind and some guidelines to follow. Once you get the hang of it, writing articles can be fun, as well as profitable for you and your site.

To make sure that your articles are read and enjoyed, here are six tips to get you started. These tips will help to make your articles easier to read and more interesting.

1) Use short paragraphs. When the paragraph is too long, the words get jumbled in the mind of the reader.  The reader will just quickly disregard the paragraph and move on to something else. Shorter paragraphs look more appealing to the eye.

2) Make use of numbers or bullets. As each point is stressed out, numbers and bullets can quickly make the point easy to remember and digest. This helps your readers know where the tips start and the points being stressed. Format you bullets and numbers with indentations so that your article won’t look like a single block of square paragraphs.

3) Use Sub-headings to sub-divide your paragraphs in the page. Doing this will break each point into sections, but still would be incorporated into one whole article. It would also be easy for the reader to move on from one point to another making a smooth and easy transition. You will never lose your reader’s attention and will maintain the direction of the article.

4) Provide a good attention grabbing title or headline. If your title can entice a person’s curiosity, you’re already halfway in getting a person to read your article. Use statements and questions that utilize keywords that people are searching for. Produce titles or headlines that describe your articles content yet are short and concise.

5) Keep your readers interested from the start through the finish. From your opening paragraph, use real life situations that can be adopted by the reader. Use good descriptions and metaphors to drive in your point, just don’t over do it. Writing your examples with graphic metaphors and similes would make it easy for them to imagine what you are talking about. This can make it a pleasurable and enjoyable reading experience for them.

6) Utilize figures when necessary and not just ordinary and insipid statements. Using specific facts and figures can heighten your article because it makes it authoritative. But do not make it too formal, it should be light and easy and have a good flow.

Increase Your Website’s Ranking In Search Results

Posting Classified Ads On Flugpo Can Help You Do That

Did you know that every time you post a free classified ad on Flugpo that the ad is picked up by the search engines? That means that when someone searches for something you have to offer, your ad can show up in those search results. The important thing to know is that the more often you post, the more likely you are to STAY in the search results.

This would be especially important to people that have a website or a blog to promote. Make sure to include a link directly to your site within the classified ad. Every time you post an ad, you are feeding the search engines links to your site. That is why it is important to put in keywords that you want associated with your site in the ad you post. When the search engines “read” your ad along with all of your keywords, they start to associate your link with those keywords.

If you are interested in getting this benefit for your site, you should place your classified ads often. Ideally, you should place an ad daily. Remember, you are not just advertising to other members on Flugpo. You are also advertising to the entire Internet. Even if you placed the same ad daily, you will benefit from it as long as you use those keywords and include your site’s link.

If you have any questions about this, please feel free to send me an inquiry message.

Protect your data from privacy invasion

In response to the growing concerns that social network site user’s have had over privacy, we’ve sponsored the development of a plug-in to help counteract the collection and sale of personal information. This plug-in will be available through MyDataIsMyData.org.

Selling private information for profit unbeknownst to the user’s is an abuse of their trust and MyDataIsMyData.org hopes to empower these user’s by allowing them to control the amount of personal information that they make visible.
